   LACY ON CURRENT PROJECTS:

Cultural Environments in the Time of the Caddo, Cabeza de Vaca and the Spanish Exploration of Texas

I recently founded the Houston Institute for Culture, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultural literacy, and have worked to explore the historic cultures of our immediate region. I make photographs of Caddo dwellings and unaltered landscapes to illustrate concepts in educational programs and for resources to promote the organization.
