The Landscape of the Colorado Plateau
I've given many presentations on the geography and native peoples' beliefs about the natural environment in the Four Corners region. Using what I know about light and composition, I purposely create intriguing images of the landscape to increase audiences' interest and awareness of the Colorado Plateau. I also make many seemingly routine photographs of cultural icons to document the impact of cultural transitions in the desert Southwest.
