REI Slide Presentation
Tuesday, May 4, 7:00 pm
As part of REI's weekly free presentations, I will be showing photographs of Southeast Arizona's Chiricahua Mountains and the other Islands in the Sky that rise from the Chihuahuan desert. We will talk about travel and hiking in this region below the Mogollon Rim.
The history and cultural diversity of this region is extensive. That, combined with the beauty of what is sometimes mistaken to be a baron land, makes Southeast Arizona a perfect destination for Houston travelers.
I hope you can make it to REI for this presentation, or tell someone who may be interested.
REI Is located at 7951 Katy Freeway, just East of Chimney Rock on I-10.
