"As our music is drowned in the banging and twanging of electric guitars and electronic synthesizers I become more stressed. Where is the connection to nature? In the pueblo, the objects used for making the sound to accompany our songs and dances continue the natural rhythm of life. The beat of our drum echoes in our hearts as our feet meet the pulse of Mother Earth.... As we sing of these wonders, the sounds connect us to all life."
