EDUCATIONAL TRAVEL
YUCATAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE EXCHANGE PROJECT III
JULY 1-29, 1999 IN TETIZ, YUCATAN, MEXICO
We are pleased to announce the availability of limited slots for the Yucatán Summer Project, now in its third year, specifically for students in the social sciences. Students will live in a rural community of Maya/Spanish speakers, teach English to students and perhaps, community members; learn Maya language; visit nearby cities of interest and archeological sites. The cost is approximately $800, which includes plane
fare, housing, meals, and most transportation. Tetiz is 35 miles northwest of Mérida, in the state of Yucatán. Substantial Spanish proficiency is required. Students completing requirements for course credit are welcomed to apply.

FOUR CORNERS, PUEBLOS AND LANDSCAPES
Our July trip to Arizona and Utah has moved up to June 6 to 13, leaving from Albuquerque, New Mexico. The trip will feature seven days of short to medium length day hikes. Following is the expected itinerary.
