The Houston Istitute for Culture
We are getting good response on the effort of our web organization, but finding time to maintain the information is difficult. Please help by doing one of the following:
1) Check to see if information you submitteed is there and is accurate. If not, email me.
2) Recommend resource information, such as cultural artists, events and organizations, that would be appropriate and helpful.
3) Volunteer to edit and maintain one of the sections that interests you, or help proof.
4) Inform people who may be interested in the goals of the organization. Tell them the address is "cultural-crossroads.com".
5) Help advertise the information resources available from the Houston Institute for Culture. More on this later.

KTRU World Music and Blues Show
Remember to listen to World Music, now on Monday nights from 7 - 10 pm. Tonight is my night to DJ, as well as next Monday, since I will be in Mexico for the two weeks following.
Also, I will be subbing for the Blues Show on Wednesday, from 7 - 9 pm. So, all of you who keep asking me where the Regional and Historical Music show went, this will be your chance to hear a bit of that.

Travel
As soon as we get back from San MiIguel and Guanajuato we'll be working on the spring and summer travel ideas. Several votes are already in and we may be on the lookout for cheap internet airfares, so planning ahead will be important.

Music
After DJing the big Condoland Block Party event with great success last Friday, I may be ready to try it again, say at Dina's art opening or something like it. I don't have any of the kind of music Kilian had at his birthday party though. Remember, fun and educational!
From the desk of Dina:
"Hey, our art show is Nov. 21 at 6:30 - ?. The address is the Heights, in our warehouse, 909 W. 22nd."
For more info: dina@uh.edu
Kilian's band, Texas Guinness Lovers, play that night too at Rudyard's, so you can go to the exhibit and then to the show. Kilian will be playing several encores since he will be resting peacefully on the bus headed south on the way to San Miguel de Allende the next day.
