In the above table, you should see black, white and seven shades of gray. If you do not see all of these monochromatic shades, particularly, if you do not see two distinctive shades of gray below the black box in the upper left, your monitor brightness may be set too dark or your contrast may be too low. The words "Gray 11" should be visible in the middle box of the left column. ("Gray 11" may appear faint as it is black type on a field of approximately 90% gray.) Grays in the table should appear neutral -- void of red, green or blue tint.
Your monitor should also render bright, clear html-assigned RGB values.
