The Houston Institute for Culture is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. Contributions are tax deductible.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We invite you to support the Houston cultural community with any level of contribution you feel comfortable giving. With additional contributions, cumulative over time, you can achieve a higher level of recognition in our publications and events. If a student joins our effort as a "Community Scholar" with a $25 contribution, and then contributes $15 to become a "Community Advocate," she or he can later contribute $60 to become a family-level "Community Educator."

Your contribution is greatly appreciated and will serve the community in ways you may not have considered. We would enjoy the opportunity to talk with you or your organization about the importance of improved cultural education in our communities. Please contact us with any questions at 713-521-3686.

"Community Advocates" enable us to produce beneficial resources for the community, including an informative website, newsletter, and educational publications. These resources help us support Houston cultural organizations, promote diverse activities and recruit volunteers.

Educator $100 Family level support represents a commitment to cultural education for the entire family. "Community Educators" enable us to produce educational media and provide educational programs to schools and community centers. We invite institutions and cultural organizations to join us with a family level contribution.

Surveyor $300 Our patrons help us look into the future of diverse cultures and examine the issues we all face. "Community Surveyors" enable us to do our most pioneering work -- research, documentary projects and cultural exhibits -- to promote cultural literacy. In a diverse world, cultural awareness and understanding are critical to social health.

Partner $500 Businesses rely on the social health and diverse interests of communities to thrive. "Community Partners" enable us to sponsor events and share in cosponsored efforts, demonstrating the commitment of local businesses to the cultural communities they serve. Our Community Partners help us develop interest in community and cultural organizations.

Builder $1,000 Benefactors are helping us build for the future. These important "Community Builders" enable us to provide support staff and operate facilities, including a valuable resource center where community organizations can hold meetings and forums. They ensure sustainability for Houston Institute for Culture and for cultural activity in Houston.

Founder As essential investors in Houston's future, "Community Founders" will literally provide the foundation of the Cultural Arts and Activities Center and other important facilities that will have tremendous impact on our city's quality of life and cultural literacy, as well as its value to visitors from all over the world.
