Oct. 3, 1867 hurricane (tracks Texas coast from Sabine River to Rio Grande; Bagdad, Tamaulipas and Clarksville, TX destroyed at mouth of Rio Grande)
Oct. 12-13, 1880 hurricane (landfall near Brownsville, TX)
