A traditional Bharata Natyam repertoire by Namita Bodaji, p.2 5. Padam: Adhuvum Solluval: This is the complaint made by a lover of Lord Muruga to her companion about her rival. She says - one cannot expect her rival to put a stop to her endless talk. There were times when the other woman used to approach me and ask for her valuable ornaments and sarees, but not any more. She is a rival to me in every way. She has a palatial mansion of her own. She possesses all of the things that are necessary. She boasts that she is luckier than anybody else. In this world she has a score of maids to serve her at her beck and call. So she will boast about her possessions. Raga: Sowrashtra Tala: Adhi 6.
