Lost Dutchman Outdoor Adventures and Photographic Expeditions
Mark Lacy and Michael Williams organized Lost Dutchman Expeditions and started taking small groups to destinations in the southeast corner of Arizona. They discovered this culturally significant location during one of their usual cross-country forays to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform in San Francisco. Their propensity for following bands led them to many diverse cities, including St. Petersburg, Florida and New Orleans, Louisiana, and sometimes off the paved roads. The history of diverse cultures they discovered on a snow-covered Chiricahua mountain pass in Cochise County came as a big suprise.

The Chiricahua Apache homeland became the flagship tour they labeled "Cultural Crossroads" in their budding travel service. They quickly expanded into the relatively unexplored Copper Canyon in Mexico, the backcountry wilderness of the Bandelier National Monument and the phenomenal remote Anasazi dwellings in Chaco Canyon and Mesa Verde.
