Description	Project Row Houses is public art project involving artists in issues of neighborhood revitalization, historic preservation, community service, and youth education. We are located in Houston's Third Ward, a neighborhood with deep historical and cultural traditions dating back to its formation at the end of the Civil War. Our site, with its twenty-two renovatedshotgun-style houses, provides a place for the creation of art work that both engages the community in the creative process and celebrates African-American history and culture.
