Description	Performing acoustic folk music and folk rock, the Flying Fish Sailors bring together elements from diverse musical styles to create a sound uniquely their own. The group was formed in 1988 and started out performing Celtic folk, renaissance music and sea songs. Recently the group opened for the Houston performances of the legendary British folk rockers Steeleye Span, and the traditional Irish supergroup, Altan.
