CCE is a worldwide organization based in Dublin, Ireland, committed to the preservation and practice of traditional Irish arts such as music, singing, dance, and language. CCE South promotes these things in the American South by sponsoring concerts, workshops, and other events.

The Roi'si'n Bui' Den Texas branch was founded in the Houston Metro area on Jan 16th, 2001. The group consists of session players, singers, Gaelic Language Students and step dancers. Members can be found in Gaelic Class on Monday evenings around 7pm. Members are regulars at a jam session held at the Harp Pub on Richmand each Sunday starting at 5pm. Members spend most Wednesday nights at McGonigal's Mucky Duck on Norfolk St. in Houston. House parties and house sessions are common as well.
