Description	CACHH's mission is to nurture, fund and promote participation in the arts in Houston and Harris County. To accomplish this goal, CACHH strives to assure both the health of the arts and their accessibility. It provides artists and nonprofit arts organizations of all sizes with financial support, information on funding and other resources, and assistance in organization, management, and planning. It cultivates collaborative alliances between major institutions and emerging groups. It sustains outreach programs to bring a broad spectrum of people to museums and performance hall and those that bring the arts into our neighborhood schools and parks. It encourages arts festivals and the creation of public art works.
