Organization The 1940 Air Terminal Project

Category Museums

Description Phase 1 of the 1940 Air Terminal Museum opened on January 9, 2004 .

The ongoing 1940 Air Terminal Project will restore the long-vacant Houston Municipal Airport Terminal and will outfit and operate the Terminal as an interactive museum showcasing the role and importance of civil aviation in the Houston area since the dawn of manned flight.
